I have always been amazed of the Titanic Diaster, and now that it was discovered some years ago, it still remains a mystery of perhaps some of the untold story of that diasterous night in April 12,1912,
A Most Spectacular Titanic Replica with pictures of news clippings. Cased in a wooden glass frame with an antique gold trim in the front.
Background is of an emerald cloth.
The boat looks to be made of metal, plastic and wood.
Size: 41 3/4″ wide 3 1/4″ in deep/ 13″ tall
I bought from an antique dealer 10 years ago. Made in the Philappines as noted on a sticker at the bottom of the display-does not say what stock number it is.
The antique dealer bought it at an estate sale.
The pictures and news clippings include: Picture of a cabin on the Titan, The famous Stairway, pic of ship sinking, pic of the lifeboat, ship at the doc where it was built, copy of the New York Times front page of the diaster, passenger list, more news clippings of the diaster, Pic of Cap EJ Smith on a red and white tube water life saver,
There are 3 history scripts printed rectangle and square cards at the bottom. The pictures are tacted on with what look like very antique-looking tacts.
Though this piece is intact and in excellent condition, I don’t think it’s a good idea to ship this. However, I can place insurance on it and have it professionally packed. I will have it weighed this week. Looks to be about 10 pounds.
This is truly a collective items. The age, don’t know. If anyone know about this item you can send me a message.
